Dermestid Beetls clean the flesh from your trophy and leave behind cleaned bones whether large or paper thin.
Throughout all stages of the beetles growth to adulthood.  Larvae burrow into holes and emerge larger and more hungry.  The majority of the cleaning is accomplished by the larvae which eat in their drive to grow and reproduce.
